Presenting & Coaching

Presenting is a lost art.

Plenty of people get trained on the technology and the sales methodology. Almost no one is taught how to actually deliver the message. That's what I coach — for individuals and teams, in the moments that matter most.

Why it matters

The best idea in the room doesn't always win.

The best-delivered one does. I've watched brilliant people — with the right answer — lose the room to someone no better informed, simply because that person was understood. Presenting isn't a soft skill or an optional extra; in a boardroom pitch, a conference keynote, or the high-stakes internal moment everything hinges on, it's the whole game.

The good news: it's learnable. Not with tricks or a rigid formula, but with a way of thinking on your feet that holds up when the pressure is on.

My method

Recognise. React. Recover.

A simple, memorable structure for staying in control of the room — especially when it doesn't go to plan.

1

Recognise

Read the room and the moment — who's in front of you, what they actually care about, and what's really at stake — before you say a word.

2

React

Respond in real time — the tough question, the curveball, the room that's drifting — without losing your thread or your composure.

3

Recover & Realign

Reset when it wobbles. Get back on track, regain the room, and still land the message you came to deliver.

Ways to work together

From one big moment to a whole team.

1:1 · high-stakes

The Big Moment

A focused sprint for one specific, high-stakes presentation — a pitch, a keynote, a board update. We shape the message and rehearse until you own it.

Group workshop

Own the Room

A practical group workshop — Presenting & Professional Speaking with Confidence — for teams who want to level up how they deliver, together.

Ongoing · retainer

Coaching retainers

Ongoing support, three ways: On Call for access when you need it, Develop for regular 1:1s and new starters, and Embed for a whole team — workshop, clinics and 1:1s combined.

Who it's for

If you have to stand up and be understood.

Leaders & experts

Executives, technical leaders and founders who need to carry a room, not just a slide deck.

Teams

Sales teams, new starters and specialists whose ideas deserve to land as well as they deserve to be heard.

Big moments

Anyone with a pitch, keynote or high-stakes conversation coming up that simply has to go well.

In their words

“Steve doesn't just share information; he sparks ideas, encourages action, and creates meaningful opportunities.”

— Jessica Jorgensen, Senior Director
